Live auction

How does the hybrid auction work?​
The live auction is streamed to mobile phones as it takes place at the auction hall – bidders can see and hear the auctioneer and live bids displayed in real-time. As the highest bid displays on mobile screens and auction hall at the same time, bidders can compete fairly with equal chance to offer the best price. 

Registering to bid

How do I register to bid online remotely? 
Tap Register to Bid on the property tile. You need: 
- a Singpass account 
- an image of your physical NRIC, FIN or passport 
- a selfie for identity verification 
- sufficient funds to pay the registration deposit (see Registration Deposit)

How do I register to bid at the auction hall?
- Tap Register to Bid on the property tile. You need: 
- a Singpass account 
- an image of your physical NRIC, FIN or passport

Can I register without a Singpass account? 
You must have a Singpass account to register. If you do not have one, create a Singpass account. 

5.

I will not be in Singapore during the auction. How can I bid? 
You can bid from anywhere with the App. For all properties except HDB resale flats, you must grant Power of Attorney to someone who will be present in Singapore to sign the Sale and Purchase Agreement on your behalf if you are the Successful Bidder.

I have a joint buyer, do we both register to bid? 
Only one buyer should register to bid, although all joint buyers’ details must be provided during registration.

Can I bid on behalf of a company?
You can bid on behalf of a company. During registration, upload the following:​
- Company’s ACRA Bizfile​
- Company Resolution​
- Certified copy of a letter of authorisation​

Can I register for more than one property?
You can register for any number of properties. For each property, agree to the terms of sale applicable, and pay the registration deposit where applicable. 

Registration Deposit

9. Do all bidders pay a registration deposit?
Registration deposit is required only if you are bidding online remotely. If you are bidding at the auction hall, you do not have to pay a registration deposit. 

10. How much is the registration deposit?
Registration deposit varies with each property. Contact the salesperson for information.  

11. How do I pay the registration deposit?​​
During registration, a unique account number specific to the property will be assigned to you. Payment details will be sent to your email address registered to the App. Registration deposit payment must be made from a deposit account.  

12. When will the registration deposit be refunded?
Registration deposit will be refunded within three (3) business days after the auction. The refund will be made to the originating payment account.  


Bidding

When can I join the auction?
Join the auction on the App 15 minutes before the auction start time. Refer to Menu > Bidding Guide.​ ​

14.

When can I start bidding for my property?​
Bidding starts when the auctioneer announces the Opening Price for the property. A “Place Opening Bid” button will be displayed to enable bidders to place the first bid at the opening price. ​

15.

How do I submit bids on the App?
After the opening bid, a keypad will be displayed for ease of bid input. Refer to Menu > Bidding Guide.

I am the Successful Bidder. What’s next?​
Our salesperson will contact you to formalise your purchase on the same day.  
- For HDB resale flats, transfer the option fee by 10:00 PM  
- For all other properties, sign the Sale and Purchase Agreement, pay the sale deposit and applicable GST by 7:00 PM

Can I decline the purchase if I am the Successful Bidder? 
Your bid is a binding offer that is accepted when the auctioneer knocked down. You are obliged to complete the purchase.

Can I make an offer for a withdrawn property?​
Contact the salesperson for assistance.

KF Bidding app requires iOS 14.0 or later, or Android 12.1 (SDK 32) or higher.
